Use random characters for long-term accounts. Switch to a memorable passphrase when you must type by hand. Both modes finish in this tab. Passwords are not uploaded.
Random mode defaults to 16 characters and can be set from 6–128. If you will copy from the screen, you can exclude 0, O, 1, l, and I. Generate up to 100 at once.
Results appear only on this device. Copy them if you need to keep them, or export a TXT file into a password manager. FastPwd does not offer a vault.
Picked from the character set you select. Default is 16 characters, adjustable from 6–128. You can exclude 0, O, 1, l, and I, and you can require a first-character type. Below 8 characters, this page warns that security is weaker. Best for new accounts and long-term passwords; store them in a password manager.
Picks 3–10 words from a built-in English word list and joins them with a hyphen by default. You can insert digits or symbols at random positions, or capitalize each word. Use this when you must type by hand and do not want a string of symbols. For important accounts, random characters are still the better choice.
A password generator only answers how to create a new password. The random source, length, batch limit, and whether anything is stored are written on this page.
Characters and words come from the browser Crypto.getRandomValues API, not Math.random(). Computation stays in this tab.
Random mode defaults to 16 characters. Below 8, this page flags it as weaker. NIST SP 800-63B-4 asks for at least 15 characters on a single-factor password. The default on this page matches that scale.
Generate up to 100 at once. Copy one, copy all, or export as TXT. The file downloads only to your device and is not sent back to FastPwd.
No signup. This site does not offer a vault and does not store generated results on the server. After you refresh, plaintext you did not export does not appear on any remote system.
Math.random(). After you close the page, that password is not left on FastPwd’s servers. Copy it or export a TXT file if you need to keep it.Check password strength, share a one-time secret, or encrypt a file backup—all in the browser. Passwords you test, keys, and files are not uploaded by default.
